Self made attachments

I have made lots of attachments but the most used would definately be the 3ph reciever hitch. I am forever building something that slides in the hitch and works off from that. I have 2 factory boom poles but I built a small one out of 2" tubing to work off of the reciever. Sometimes I need the factory one but usually the smaller one in the reese hitch gets the job done and is a lot easier to change out.

Whenever I take an implement off of a tractor I put the reciever tube back on. Keeps the sway out of the lift arms and is always ready to move a trailer. Built 3 of them, have 2 tractors. If someone needs to use one of my home built reciever attachments, I have an extra hitch to let them use also.

My most used is the front quick-hitch (either with, or without my three-point hitch mounted). With it, I can put any three-point attachment on the front, including my carryall. Coolest so far is my boom pole (in my humble opinion).

really interesting. have close up pictures of your build?

"really interesting. have close up pictures of your build? " Here are a couple of pics. You can see more if you search under boom pole and quick hitch, etc.

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME ;-) Me and a buddy welded some special lifting forks for the front and rear end of my Mahindra 3535. Why? Cuz of a bet. I bet my neighbors my Mahindra could lift their John Deere and Kubota tractors. Check out my custom forks in action in my YouTube video. Needless to say, I won the bet...YouTube - Man Lifts Tractor

That may be impressive to some people but IMO it doesn't make a mahindra better than the JD or Kubota there.

A 4200lb tractor being able to lift a 2600lb bota and a 2900lb john deere that are a size class smaller isn't that impressive to me.

I'm mean no disrespect to mahindra and they make a great tractor, but step up to a 4200lb tractor of any make and most will be able to do that.

HP is not a good way to size tractor classes. Mahindra tends to put smaller motors in larger framed tractors to be on top of the specs board and others put larger HP engines in smaller tractors.

Dont take this the wrong way. It does look impressive, until you look at the #'s. But what WAS impressive was being able to design and build them forks for that show. That had to take some planning and know how cause you probabally would have lost the bet if the forks broke and you dropped one of them tractors.

So...How many cases of beer did you win:D

"Professional operators with controlled conditions and specialized stabilizing equipment were used in this video..."
And you'll notice tractorguy101 has 6 posts. All yesterday and all inserting this marketing video. That type of marketing turns me off.

I guess I didn't realize that until you mentioned it. All 6 posts within 45min. Just reading them under his profile reminds me of them spam e-mails I get everyonce in awhile from c-list, about refering you to some NY times artical about how to get rich quick yada yada.

Is this how mahindra actually advertizes?? or is this guy just doing it on his own cause he's nuts???

I liked the redhead "wife" but wondered how that guy managed to land her. :ashamed::ashamed:
I was not sure if the two neighbours were depriving two villages somewhere of their idiots or as you say just bad actors from a Ronco or K -tel ad:thumbsup:
