ROPS for 2210D

I'm going to have a ROPS made for my 2210D. I was wondering if any of you could post some good pictures and or diagrams of ROPS for similar tractors so I can show the guy whos gonna fabricate one for me.
Maybe it wouldbe best to buy the mounting brackets from Yanmar and have the rest made?
Any help would be appreciated!!

If your still looking for pic's of ROPS for smaller tractors I can take pic's of mine for a YM187 over the weekend and slap a tape to it so you have some numbers to go by, but I have no Idea if what I have would even come close to fitting yours.

I recently modified a Ford ROPS to fit my 2010D.
I solved the mounting of the ROPS to the rear axle by cutting off the fender mounts to the axle. This provided room for the ROPS mounting.
The Ford had a "C" shaped bracket with two grade 8 bolts which gripped the axle. From that "C" shaped bracket, a rectangular vertical support extended inside the fender, to the underside of top of the fender.
This support has a flat plate on the top surface with four 1/2" holes. Now the ROPS can be bolted on the top of the vertical support with the fender sandwiched between.
I am going to add additional support by fabricating square tubular supports from the front loader mounts to the rear axle. These supports will provide a surface to mount triangle shpaed supports inside the fender. See my post titled Modifications to Yanmar 2010D
I will post additional photos as soon as I do some more fabrication.

Cameron, I dont want to bother you but can you measure the width of the ROPS where it attaches to the fender? I'm in need of an ROPS also and don't really need those fender mounts on the axle. I'd feel a lot better about it if I had a little protection. My tractor is a FF205D Yanmar. I'm hoping it is roughly the same size as your 2010D.

Sorry for the slow reply. The Ford ROPS where it mounts to the top of the fender is 40" OD and 31" ID. My YM2010D was +/- 1" wider and I needed to slightly narrow the fenders a bit. Not very hard. I just shimmed them out with some longer machine screws and the rubber mounts from under the fenders. Now it fits perfectly and no rattles. The fenders are securely fastened to the ROPS and they feel more solid than stock.

Is your ROPS 4.5 inches wide? So OD is 40, ID is 31,
40-31= 9 divided by 2. thanks again, I'll go and measure my machine, I know it is 48 wide OD on the treads. brettw
