Still working great, was dragging trees off the hillside last week and I can go anywhere without fear of flipping over. Just grab the end of the log and lift it up, no problem with traction at all.

Did the same thing in the same way a few years ago with a BX25. Ran on it's side and blew clouds of smoke till it ran out of fuel after turning key off. Pulled it back upright with my truck up the hill and started it and ran fine the rest of the time I owned it. I just turned the key and cranked a short time and fired right up. Smoked some but then cleared out. Fire it up and go forth!

John, where you live you might have to go with triples, that beautiful view you have makes it worthwhile though.

As stated above you should not be able to easily liquid lock a diesel. Theoretically you could run enough oil through an open valve to do it, but I doubt that happened.

True, but I have seen enough posts right here on TBN of someone bending a rod, or worse, when cranking an engine over after a tractor rolled, that I wouldn't take any chances myself. I have concluded the problem is a lot more common than I realized.

Thanks for the pictures. Hopefully your 'puckermeter' now has been calibrated for future reference!
