ROLLED - KX033 PRE STARTUP/POST CONDITIONS TROUBLESHOOTING

My Yanmar YM2310 has a decompression feature. If I was to tip it on its side would the decompression feature protect the engine from hydrolock, a bent connecting rod?

Most likely not. It's a manual compression release anyway.
