Rock Island G2

My mother in law has an old Rock Island tractor....I'm pretty sure from looking at pictures that its a model G2 (hmmm...maybe I better get a better look at it to know for sure). Its on the original steel wheels and was bought new by her dad in the 20's. They had it running a few years ago and it's complete and pretty nice original but "patina" condition....machine shed kept. Can anyone give me a balllpark price range on a tractor like this? She would like to sell it (lack of storage space)....and I'm thinking it's time to sell. Any good places to list or is craigs list good for this kind of merchandise? Thanks for the input.

Please post a picture. I have never seen or heard anything about a Rock Island Tractor.

Im taking a little R&R down in Phoenix for a week or so....but when I get back I will try to get the serial number and a photo and post it here.

They are a relatively small tractor (4000 lbs?) with a 4 cylinder gas engine. This company was bought out by JI Case back in the mid 30s. I think many of 'em were converted over to rubber tires and wheels.....but this one was used for other tasks around the farm (elevator chores, etc) when it was replaced by John Deere (I think a G)on rubber tires (or, so I'm told) and was put away unconverted.

Anyway....thanks for the responses....I think I need to do some homework on this....who knows, I could become attached and resore this piece of "tired iron".
