Looking
I'm about to purchase a b2650 from the local dealer. He quoted me $2500 for a 72" Landpride rear finish mower, $2000 for the 60". I have zero experience with RFM, any advice would be great. I have the cash to buy the RFM elsewhere without financing if need be to get a better price, although besides Tractor Supply I'm not sure where to go locally. What do you think of that price, and of Landpride compared to other brands? Thanks.

I have always believed that Landpride and Woods are premium implement manufacturers. I would look the RFM over and ask to see various models. I know Woods and I think Landpride make different models with different features and heft. Think about how much you will use it and what terrain you will use it on.

Having said that, I have a beat up Sicma mower that I bought used 7 years ago for $500. It is a fairly light mower and I've used the crap out of it for all that time.

Those are good prices for Land Pride RFM's. I couldnt sell Woods cheaper than that.

IMO, Woods or Land Pride are really the only finish mowers worth having.

I have a Land Pride AT 2572 and an 84" First Choice finish mower.
Personally I like my First Choice mower better, I rarely use the Land Pride.

I have a Woods 5' that I use with my B2650. It is a rear discharge. It does a very good job of spreading the clippings around with out leaving a windrow.
I had a mid mount mower with my previous B3200. It was a ground contact mower and did a good job of mowing my yard. It cut about as good as the mower on my BX25. But it did leave windrows that had to be dealt with.
As I remember I paid $2300 for the Woods mower.
A LandPride can be financed with your Kubota.
LandPride or Woods are both good quality.:2cents:

I agree that Landpride and probably Woods are hard to beat. I hate side discharge mowers and love the rear discharge in any location (belly, front or rear)on a tractor or mower.
Add the Landpride to your 0% purchase and Kubota has a $200 instant off rebate implement purchase with tractor this month. I bought a 50" tiller with my B2650 to get the $200 off.
