Rewiring

Anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2004 BX 23? Seem to have a bad ground that is causing lights to come on by themselves.:confused3: Would like to redo entire wiring and replace all old bulb lights with LEDs.:cool2:

I have a 2004 BX23 as well and have had the same issues you are experiencing. One night I was awakened by the the blinking of the 4 way flashers, at three in the morning. Got dressed went out and turned the flasher switch on and off, and they stopped. Went back in to the house, got undressed, and back into bed. five minutes later the flashers were at it again. Got dressed again, went out and pulled the plug off the switch. The next day I began looking into the problem and realized that the switch contacts were wet and shorting out. Cleaned everything out and sprayed the insides with WD-40. I have had the same thing happen with the headlight switch as well. These switches are not sealed against the weather.
Sometime in the past, someone here had found marine grade switches that dropped into the dash with no modifications. A search through the threads may find this information.

Thanks. Been through the switch cleaning deal. Hadn't thought of the marine grade updates.:ashamed: Would still like to start with new wire for LED replacement lights.
