Replcement Engine for Troy-Built Horse

I started scouring the net and found the belt number CP9245 for a Horse that uses two belts. They were $10.39 each. Ordered two. Now I'm anxious to get the motor in and get the ol Horse running again.

Here's a link to some of the different Troy bilt belts. If you look at the description, they give the length and width which might help locate an equivalent belt at an auto shop. The actual tiller belts are supposed to be made of a tougher material than your regular auto belt, however.

I needed a belt for my Troybilt chipper and I found that the local lawn mower shop carried Kevlar belts in various sizes. Not too pricey, either -about $16

FedEx just dropped off the new motor from HF. I went out at lunch to pick up the correct bolts and waiting for the new belts to come in and I'll mount it up. Looking forward to getting the old Horse up and running. Did find a site to get the manuals for the tiller. Found that when I was looking for a service manual for my Kawasaki 17hp motor. DOH... I see that this is the CA motor and for the rest of the US that motor does say instore only. Guess I lucked out and got one before they stopped selling them online. Sorry for any confusion. If you live in CA the motor is still available to order.

your right, the one online says not for sale outside ca....but they accepted my order info, so we shall see if they ship it to me or not??? an the shop20 code worked on the order..hopefully they will send it anyway..
