Removing the backhoe.... Tractor is on level spot, same as last year. The manual (page 19) step 3: Keep stabilizer pads at about 15" high; set 4: Raise rear wheels slightly with the boom and remove the mounting pins.

Weight on the bucket should take the weight off the pins.

I can't get the pins to budge -- even with a hammer (and punch). I've done this before, and can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I watched the video for the BX... pins slide right out of course. The video for the BH77 has the stabilizer pads at ground level, no weight. Don't see how that would matter much.


Maybe I just never read the manual before. Anyway, I've gotten myself in a mental do-loop and not getting it done.

I would appreciate anyone talking me through this.

Just reading this thread now. Did you manage to get it off yet? My experience with an L3400 and a BH76 was that if you put too much lift with the boom, the pins got pinched. I alter back and forth and found the sweet spot and they slide right out.
