I think part of my issue is that this carb was secured with 8mm bolts, not phillips head screws - so I couldn't get at things, especially that bolt which secured the control panel closest to the carb body. All swapped now and running great. Thanks all.
BUT WOULDN'T YA KNOW IT: The pull cord broke, and after removing the 3 bolts to the metal housing to get to the recoil/rope, (I must be a stooopid or something), I CANT REMOVE THE METAL COVER!!!! There's an indentation in the housing of the tiller and it's almost an inch deep and this metal cover can't slide out. What am I missing??
