I have a couple of the old cheap office chairs works good, I like the way you did yours tho, I have one I replaced seat on so I have the air lift on it still.

Love it James!

My office chair lost it's hydraulics a few months back. I got real tired of constantly having to stand up and raise my chair back up.

I took a piece of 1 1/2 PVC, split it length ways and zip tied it to the rod of the cylinder at full extension. No more sinking chair!

Maybe we ought to patent our ideas??

Thats a good one Dean.. I guess I could have done that, but I didn't think of it.. But the bracket the cylinder was pressed into was split really bad, It was dangerous, but I could have welded it back up I guess.. Oh well I needed a better shop stool anyway... Cool Idea you had tho, I need to remember that as redneck method number 2:)
