OK, yes I am a redneck. I have the required license and everything!:)

The donor chair was "all done". The hydraulic cylinder was dead and on top of that it was a press fit into the swivel bracket to make it a one piece replacement. None of the normal "universal replacement cylinders would fit, and they sold this bracket/cylinder as a single replacement part for $4 less than a complete new chair.. yep new office chair time..

But the rest of the parts were still good and I do have a 5 gallon bucket..... hummmm.. I could use a better shop stool.. the rest is all in the pictures.:laughing:

James I have just "skinned " my lazy boy chair would you need any parts cover the bucket or infernal parts.
Be going through there in couple of weeks could toss into your work truck.

No, but thanks Ken. I think the old painted 5 gallon bucket gives it "redneck charm":D

Great job! Remove the handle and paint the bucket Kioti orange and you're all set! :)
