Buying Advice Rebuild old JD110 or replace?

Thanks everyone for your input. I came very close to buying a Zero turn mower but the more I read about the handling on hills the more I decided it wasn't for me. I have a lot of 15-20 degree hills and a lot of rough area that I cut. I think front wheel steering and 4 good wheels on the ground would be a better fit for me. I have looked at so many tractors that I can't remember which is which. I found one that had a Tuff Torq k57 and thought it would have been more robust than the K46 all of the others had. Then I came across an article on CTV transmissions for garden tractors; that sold me. I like the idea that there are no pumps, motors or hydraulic oil to wear out. Time will tell If I made the right decision or not. I ordered a Husqvarna YTA24V48 24-HP V-Twin Automatic 48-in Riding Lawn Mower. The 'YTA' in the model number denotes a CTV transmission, 'YTH' is the k46 hydro version. How does a person determine what model transaxle is on their riding mower?

Is there a list of light duty through heavy duty transaxles?

I have a Craftsman LT2000 that was like new before I took it out to the ranch... it's been two years and gets used hard... the first job it did with 2 acres for waist high grass... had to open the chute and cut about 16" swaths and felt sorry for the poor machine all day...

Now that I've bought a new lawn tractor, I decided to put my transmission back together. I cleaned the filter and magnets, sealed the case, added 10w40 synthetic oil, and reinstalled it on my tractor. It runs like new!

Zero Turns do ok on hills if the slippy turf tires are replaced with ATV tires.
