Rear wheel weights

Don't block the access from maint. Esp. grease fittings,Wheels bearing, adj. the brakes etc.. Or easy to remove or move them if needed. Weight on 3Pt. hitch would be about the same principal. JMO!

But the fill liquid is far more than $100.
Yeah if you buy beet juice which is overkill. You can use antifreeze mixed with water or pay more and buy Ethanol. Either way the fluid can be reused when you get new tires..

I guess it depends on the tire size/volume. Mine have corn juice (Bioballast) not beet juice.

I ordered 5 gals of machinist lube from Amazon and got it mixed fluid enough to put a gal in each tire then filled with water. Keeps rims from rusting.

You must not worry about freezing.

Depends on what you want to fill with.
In Florida they use straight water.
I've used used antifreeze that was free.

I've seen that used. The downside is that if you punch a tire, you are going to be spewing antifreeze onto the ground.

With my luck that would happen within the reservoir of my dug well.

Yes and no. 3pth weight only works when it's in the air. Before I added wheel weights I was out disking my garden on a slight sidehill and had a hard time keeping the uphill rear on the ground. After adding 400 lbs of wheel weights I don't even think about it.

My Yanmar isn't positive traction, so I really have to be careful on it. Happened a few times. Drive side looses traction and your as! is stuck! sideways on a hill. The FM mower will lock it up and prevent any rollover. Pucker factor is way up there when it happens!!! Never happened on my Ford yet! Found out Anti freeze was in the rear tires when I bought it. Also the 3Pt. lock on the Yanmar so it stays up if needed running or not. Nice option!
