Where to go for rear tire replacement???

Most heavy truck and equipment tire shops can fix you up. They might have to order the tires, but they have the equipment and experience to handle heavy filled tires. And they can fill the new ones also.

I have changed them my self. Sledge hammer, few prybars and a jug of soapy water. I have calcium filled tires so needed a liquid fill adapter, 55gal drum and cheap 120v pump.

Guys, it's getting near rear tire replacement time. My L-3010 rear tires are 3/4 worn and the rubber is hard as a rock.
Other that the Kubota dealer.....where does one go to BUY....and MOUNT these tires? I've seen them on-line but WHO mounts them?
Might anyone venture a guess for the cost? Oh yes, they are full of windshield washer fluid now.....

Besides the Kubota dealer . . .

Small town tire shops. Not big name tire company shops. Many do a lot of Agriculture stuff and if they don't, they can tell you who does. (These are the ones that have old tractor tires laying around out back of the shop.)

Farm Co-ops -- the big one here used to have a full time tire shop. All they did was equipment and truck tires plus had mobile service. Too bad that they closed it a couple years ago.

ANY tractor dealer -- in farm country, most have service trucks and can come to your place and do the work. Doesn't need to be a Kubota dealer.

Last -- as mentioned by others -- call around to see who has take-off wheels and tires that are your size. Don't overlook Internet search for these. I found a couple new rear wheels and tires at a Case dealer that fit my Kubota. Just picked them up in the truck and changed them myself. MUCH cheaper too as they're usually pretty aggressive in pricing these so they can get them out of their way. (I even dropped them at an auto body shop and had him paint the rims orange for me. Still much cheaper.)

Sounds like the answer is very regional. In New England there is a chain, Pete's Tire Barn, that does ag and industrial tires. I would have guessed there would be similar tire dealers all over, but maybe not. I'd go to the various tire manufacturer's web sites and see if you can do a dealer search for ag and industrial tires. They usually are different from the shops that do car and truck tires. It's also my experience around here that the various tractor dealers do not do any tire work in house, and instead they all send it out to Pete's.

They usually have good prices but my local CIH dealer will be priced just about the same. And they will usually have the name and number of someone who will do the dismount and mount if they don't do it.

I called around a few years ago to retail tire shops asking if they loaded tractor tires. Sure! one said so I went there to have a leak repaired. When I went to pick it up they had removed all the calcium chloride from it and fixed the leak and had a employee help me "load" it into the back of the pickup. Two of us easily lifted the tire that used to be loaded.
