I have attached the purchase invoice for my inverted blower which has the fan and auger spec's.

Snow depth is less informative than snow density.

That's a huge fan and a great price. Thanks for the info too.

I doubt my tractor would run that but it certainly gives me a good idea of what size to look for.

Anyone have a video link to an inverted SnowBlower, on a 40 to 60hp tractor, blowing around 12" of snow?

Great, what are your initial thoughts of it? Mine is getting delivered tomorrow afternoon after being delayed by several weeks. Can't wait to get it all set up properly, then I'll be singing " Let it snow let it snow let it snow".

Had the neighbor drop by today. He has never heard of a pull blower. Was intrigued by my new FarmKing 74" He is a couple of years older than I and complains of having to operate in reverse to use his "normal" type blower.

Well it's built well because it survived the first drop when the chain hoist snapped coming out of the truck !! As for pics I still haven't figured out how to post from the phone but that's a different topic

Finally got delivered. Very disappointed with the condition of the unit. Tons of scrapes, dents, gouges, stickers peeling, rust spots, and all sorts of ugliness. Even though I can tell it was never used, it sure looks like it has been around the world a few times. The only thing beside being all beat up I can report on is that it is quiet when you turn it on. Waiting for snow.IMG_20191122_215927.jpgIMG_20191122_220258.jpg

I wouldn't be very happy with my NEW blower showing up, looking like that either but I think it's just the way the world is now. Nobody seems to give a **** or take responsibility for their actions. On the other hand it will get a quite a few new scratches as soon as you start using it.

I'm really anxious to hear your reports on how it performs, especially what sort of travel speeds you can achieve with varying snow types and depths. Videos would be awesome but I know they are a lot of work.

Hoping for lots of snow for you and soon too. Have fun and enjoy the new toy.

I would be pissed with getting something that looked like that. Send some pictures to the supplier and see what they say.

Also send them a link to this thread so they are aware that others are going to consider what they do to make it right.

BTW, my FarmKing looked like new except for a bit of rust on the sprocket and chain when the dealer delivered mine.

Looks good! All you need now is some snow.:)

For what its worth farm equipment is delivered on open flat bed trucks
and the equipment is not tarped to protect it.

The farm equipment is exposed to all the weather, dirt, dust and occasional
pebble or rock that is kicked up by the traffic ahead or alongside the trailer.

Peeling stickers happen due to poor quality glue and or improper installation where
isopropyl alcohol is not used to clean the surface where the sticker will be placed.

As long as it works and you can obtain some degree of service from the seller is all
that matters.

Fortunately the needed repair parts are SAE and standard sizes for roller chain, JIC
hydraulic fittings and the bearings are obtainable locally.

Just got in from using the new 78" MK Martin meteor rear inverted snow blower for the very first time. We are in the middle of nor'easter where we should get a bout a foot. So far there was only about 4 inches but I was anxious to try this thing out. It seemed to work good. Only problem is I need to somehow figure out how to get it to scrape. It is leaving behind too much snow, almost a half inch. Im thinking I have to adjust the top link so it angles it down so it digs in. I have brand new pavement so I was hoping for a nice close scrape. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I was curious if I was going to make it back up the steep hill I have at around a 16 degree slope. I am happy to report it went up no problem pulling this 1000LB hunk of steel. I have turfs with no chains. Still can't believe it made it up. What a beast! I took the best video I could being it is dark. I'll have better ones tomorrow. Plus this is the first time I got to use the LED light bars and wow do they light up the woods!

If the stop for the three point hitch draft control is fully released the only
thing you have left to do is raise the snow blower block it up and raise the skids
and the rear scraper bar if the snow blower is so equipped.

Extending the top link will just push the rear of it back and the sides will simply let
the snow escape the snow blower that does not enter the cross auger and impeller.

The entire snow blower MUST be level to enable it to clear snow and scrape and sadly
the finish on your driveway will be damaged until you invest in a thick Teflon or hardened
rubber scraper and have thick Teflon sheeting bolted to the skids if it is so equipped with
adjustable skids.
