Comparison Putting B front loader bucket on a L?

I would not hesitate to get the 60 inch bucket. I have a 66 inch on my L3710 and it's juuuuuust a bit too wide for woods trails. Get the one you want. Don't get a big one and then buy another or cut it down. That's nuts.
Agree, maneuverability in mixed age, mixed species deciduous forests can sometimes mean bigger is not better. Especially since you are actually gaining lift capacity with a slimmer, lighter bucket.

Too big, or too small? Hauling firewood home, I wish I had the humongous bucket that was on our old L3130 instead of the 60" now on the L3400. All depends on what you are putting in it...
And what you are trying to maneuver through.

I can always hook my L3830 bucket to the L2501 if I need big volume. It's a 72" bucket. (0:
Well you should have told us that to start with!! :)

I just thought about it! Lol! It would be really handy for mulch and loose hay that's for sure!
