The drilling company came back on Friday and installed the pump into my new well. Here are some pictures of the process. The pump was set 10 feet from the bottom at 110ft.

Here is a parts/price break-down.

1 – 10 gpm 1/2hp B Pump = $570
1 – DS 20 Tank = $165
1 – Tank Tee Assembly = $95
2 - ?? Male Adapters = $19
1 – ST Male adapter = $6
1 – Pitless adapter = $40
2 – Splice Kit = $10
3 – Cable Guard = $3
6 – Tape = $9
10 – Clamps = $9
145ft – 160PSI Pipe = $102
150ft – 12/3 sub wire = $113
20ft – ¾ Pipe = $9
4 – ¾ fittings = $4

Labor = $180 (about 2 hours)
Tax = $20.34

Total cost: = 1354.34

Total cost of entire well job $2317.34.
Not bad! Now, hopefully, the water clears up and I never run out. It is a little cloudy still. I suspect I will need some type of iron removal unit eventually as well.

try cleanmywater.com .... they'll test it for ya for free (then sell you what you need) I sent a sample to them and another to Texas A&M -- samples taken at the same time -- and the results were the same. Just thought it might be good to have a check & balance on their test. After all - they are in business to sell me something. (which they did)
