PUMP for front end loader

HAS ANYONE TRIED TO USE A "PTO" PUMP TO OPERATED A FRONT END LOADER....I HAVE AN L345DT WITH A L1720 LOADER 1980 MODEL....THE ORG. FRONT PUMP HAS BEEN REPLACED SOOO MANY TIMES.....THE DRIVE SHAFT "SPLINE" IN GONE AND I HAVE TRIED MANY WAYS TO COUPLE THE PUMP TO THE ENGINE.... THOUGHT USING A "PTO" PUMP AT 1000 RPM MIGHT WORK.....OR ANY OTHER MODS.. THAT SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE TRIED AND GOT TO WORK......HELP.......

Are you just talking about putting done hydraulic pump on front ??? That's how most older tractors were done by. Yes you can

Oh and a heads up. You might want to get off the caps key. Some people will have your head for that

If a spline is getting chewed it's because 1 of 2 things, 1; something is not aligned or 2; lack of lubrication of the spline. Before mounting a pump on the front of the tractor you must ensure the pump you are fitting has the correct rotation and is speed rated for that application.
