After spending quite some time here reading and lurking. I made the purchase this am.
L4400 Hydro, Ag tires and the FEL. The loader had to be ordered and I should take delivery early next week.

Total price was 20,600.00. I know that man law dictates pic's. I will post them up when I get her home.

Thanks to all that have given me answers and been helpfull.

Congrats on the ordering of your new work (play machine). Many years of fun with him. Why did you say HER as working toy is masculine and strong. A real man's machine.:)

Congratulations on the new machine. I thought I would send you something to think about. You ordered the tractor that I have. I have about 65 hours on it and I got it last Aug. This is a nice machine and it fits for what I do, brush cutting, FEL work and skidding logs to name a few. All of that work occurs on the hillsides of WV and that is why my rear wheels are set out as far as they will go and they are loaded. This tractor is a breeze to operate and for the money is a great buy. It will be a long wait for the new toy.

I can't believe the price you paid. 3 dealers up my way in RI would not go below $23900 for the exact same layout. One would not go below $24500. I must be on a different planet here in N.E.

Dex thanks for the pic's. I can not wait..
Arrow I checked with two other dealers and Brady @ Barlows had the next best price. One local dealer here in Pa wanted 23,700. Pure carzyness

Question: Was one of the dealers Norfolk Equipment. I went to them in Wrentham MA. and they were so far out of the ball park. I have a hard time going there for oil or anything else.:)

Congrats..
I got an L3400 this time last year and I just hit 185 hours..
A couple of times I wish I had a 4400....
But I up-sized when I bought to the 3400 from a BX...

Stay safe and looking forward to some work stories..

Very nice. I'll break it in for you. Since I have broken in one tractor in the last year, I feel obligated to offer my services to you, at no charge to you. P.M. me and I will give you directions to my house. Make sure you drop off all the implements with it. 100 hours and we can call it broken in, then you can come pick it up.

If ARROW is on a different planet, then I must be in another galaxy! Based on what I have read on TBN, I'm not in the right region (see below.)

I'm am motivated to "buy" but am still looking for a better deal (let alone the best deal). My local dealer's best price is $25,700 for a L4400HST, FEL (w/o quick connects), R4 tires, 72" Brush hog (standard grade), 72" box blade (standard grade). That's it. No trailer. No fill for the tires.:(

Could I impose by kindly inquirying if you would mind sending me a PM with some recommended dealers to pursue? I know I'll have to drive to collect it, but for the price difference it is a "no brainer".

Thanks in advance to any and all help.:)
