Rear Finish Mower PTO shaft stuck

any ideas on freeing up the slide on the pto shaft from the mower
ine is very stuck fromsitting and wont slide,had it hooked and it doesnt want to break free...

you've tried a penetrating break-free lube like liquid wrench, master blaster, or wd40 ?

throw it in a bucket of diesel for a few days, fil the center too..

capilary action should wich it up betweent he tube halves.

see what that gets you.

I used PB Blaster a come-a-long and a couple fence posts to free up a shaft that came off an implement that had been sitting out for decades. Keep tension on the shaft and keep spraying with penetrating oil. It took several hours since I would spray and tighten then go off and do something else. Then spray again. Some heat might help also. My friend was able to free up the locking pin on that same shaft with some heat. I had tried a sledge hammer and PB Blaster and it never moved.
