TBN member needed to do a small nachinest job. Need a special nut created to fit a molel engine propeller.

Only 2 critical dimensions Outside dia. of round part & internal threads, 1/8 by 24 (national fine)
1/2 in depth. Other din. not critical about 3/4 inches long. 5/8" on the front part. Can be hex shape at rear of nut and / or a 1/6 hole near the center.
If you are interested let me know how many $$$ & how long it will take.

Thank you,

Can't help with the part, but that looks like the variable pitch prop I had on a U control model beck in the early 60's. Made by Johnson as I recall.

There is no 1/8 x 24 NF size, want to verify that? Also, sometimes you can get internally threaded hex stock (connectors) than can be chucked up and shaped externally as needed.

Shaft is 10 / 32

Shaft is 10 / 32

Based on 10/32 that is 5/16 - 24. Nothing special about that size. You need it with a blind hole and bullet nose? Steel or brass may be too heavy. You may want aluminum.

McMaster-Carr? They seem to have everything.

A little better measurement says 1/4 28. shoul some 1 make 1 I will send a crank for the to measure.

It fits a .45 + or - size model engine, the center needs to be snug so it does not vibrate. at 10,000 rpm

yeah, that rpm is going to scare off a bunch of home shops, lol!!! Balance is tough to get right!
