- Kabota L4150
I have a L4150 Kabota and since it went for swim in the pond we have had nothing but problems with it. We drained all fluids and replaced them and after we drove the tractor for 20 to 30 minutes it would shut down as far as going forward and reverse and yet the engine has never missed a beat. We removed the drain on the transmission and got several pices of clutch material out of it and we have done this 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months and it continues to shed these from the forward and reverse shuttle clutch as least the dealer says thats where they are coming from. They plug off the pickup tube for the hydralicks. When this happens we loose use of the front end loader and all hydralics. I have not been into this tractor and am looking for some brake downs or instructions on how to do it. The dealer says its a combination of wear and trear and it dip in the pond. The dealer has been helpful but recently said it could be from 2 to 4 thousand dolars for the repair. If any one has had any experence with a L4150 it would be most helpful.
