An easy way I have found is.....from inside of your software program that you view your camera's pictures, you should be able to email pictures. I email them to myself, the software program automatically shrinks the memory down for internet use. From there I open the picture file in my email program(I use Outlook Express), highlight and COPY the address line...then go to TBN and PASTE the picture file into the attachment box.

That 2nd attempt was a ZIP file. It needs to be a .JPG or .GIF.

Your first attempt (the .jpg) had a filesize of 0K bytes. Did you let the upload take place? Uploading photos takes alot longer than just a text message. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Hang in there...

Find the file on your computer. Then find the properties of the file. How big is it?

/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gifDavid, open the picture in whatever software program you're using, then click on "File" (top left corner of the screen), then "Save As", and give it a name with the ".jpg" ending. Then right click on that file and click on "properties" to see what size it is. If it's under the 100k, then post it.

Oh, and don't feel too bad about it. It took awhile for a few of our forum members to teach me to do it, too. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If after you "Save As" like Bird described the file is still too large you can resave that newly saved file and it will be smaller. Every time you save a .jpg file it will compress it even smaller. Even if you do nothing else (like resize it or change the resolution) but open up the .jpg file and then save it, it will be smaller.
