I'm back to having the 'stalling link' problem, and the 'not showing all posts' problem.

Stalling link: Clicking a link in an email notification, gets you to the TBN forum.. then stalls .. it will set there 3 minutes.. then say done.. You have to click the link 2-3 more times to get the page to load. I've tried this on 3 different dial in computers ( in 2 different locations /cities ), plus a laptop with a broadband connection... same effect. Doesn't always happen.. but happens enough.

Posts not showing: When clicking in from an email notification, the page willload up and show the last page of posts / the last post I read. However.. not all the posts will be there. If I go back out to the forum, and then select that thread manually, when i come back in.. there may be 1-2 more posts.. or an entire page more of posts that had not been displayed. This is happening on almost every post...

I also have the stallin link problem same as you. For me it seems like it's getting worse.

The 'posts not showing' problem is now happening on -EVERY- post. If I get an email notification.. I just have to go to the thread.. hop to the forum, reselect the thread, then the last posts will be there.

Stalling is happening 33% of the time.

How about enabeling the printing of a single post once again. Rather than having to print an entire thread. .Thank you.

Have you tried highlighting what you want printed (e.g. single post) and when you select the print dialog, select the PRINT SELECTION option? I haven't tried it, but I would think it might work.

You could always just copy/paste the post into wordpad and print it from there too.

That feature does work very well.

It's aggrivating to have to write up a reply, copy it, submit, get the "not signed in" message, go sign in, get back to where I was, then paste the reply in. Using FIREFOX 1.5.0.7, the latest. Problem has been happening to me for long time, several weeks, more.

Any chance that your browser may be auto deleting cookies often? Perhaps a spyware / anti-spam program?

cookies are allowed, not cleared, even when logging off, I'm a computer consultant.... someone who is working on this can PM me and I'll give additonal detailed data, work with you to resolve.

It is very reliable that this occurs on my machine.

First thing to try is deleting cookies, and logging in again: http://www.tractorbynet.com/photos/cookies.php

Mark all forums read when you finish reading the forums so when you return you only see new post.

About half the time when i reply to a PM, I get an error page come up saying that no recipient was selected. This is fairly annoying since I am -replying- to a message that was sent to me... and the name should be available for the automailer.. right? ( at least half the time it is anyway... ).

Reminds me of the old star trek tv series. In one episode scotty can drain a hand phaser into the shuttlecraft's engines to get off a planet.. in another.. it don't work... makes ya wonder...

So.. at 9am est 11-15-06.. did TBN just drop down to 1st gear? It is now taking me about 3 minutes to load a page. I'm on dialup.. but pages normally load for me in just a few seconds.. say.. 3-5 at max. My network indicator shows that there is nothing else downloading int he back ground.. and the other sites i'm browsing are moving along at 'normal' speed.. it's just TBN that is in some time dialation field or something????... anyone else seeing this?

My latest page loads are: "Page generated in 0.16563 seconds with 10 queries."

If you look at that line at the bottom of the page, it will have the time TBN is requiring. If the number if low, as mine is, but the actual time you experience is high, 3 or more seconds, especially a long time, it is something happening on your service provider or the Net in general.
