There are diy kits too, I bought a kit from foam it green (com) and it was very easy to use. Came in two lp grill sized tanks.

There are several DYI kits out there that do a good job with small areas. I was referring to larger systems that one would need to be in the business. We had a chance to spray with one of the new low pressure systems a few months back. It looks promising and is supposed to be the next generation in equipment.

He must have got a really good deal on a used system. There's nothing wrong with that if it works and he is able to make some side money. I would be very careful with buying used equipment, especially if you have no experience with using it. There's a lot of expensive maintenance in spraying foam.

I haven't seen his system so I don't know what he has. I'll ask the next time I see him. It might take a few weeks before I can comment on it as I don't see him very often.

Now you have me curious.
