I don't know if they offer different roll sizes or R value. Would be nice.

I have seen something similar (in a roll) with the white face but it was a few inches thick, not sure if it had the foil radiant barrier on the back.

When I built my all metal building I first insulated it with 4" white face roll insulation. Didn't have the foil barrier, bare fiberglass on one side. White barrier "in". Can't remember what R value it was, have to look it up. I added 8" of blow-in to the roof/ceiling. My shop is very easy to heat. That's why I was curious if a better R value could be bought in that design. I think the Foil Radiant barrier is valuable.

I have read reports where it is very effective (above the insulation, facing the roof deck) in a ceiling application in hot climate's (for cooling). Not sure on it's performance in a wall/heating situation.

It only has an R value of 8. Not much there. I'm thinking the stuff "builder" posted, with foil barrier, probably has as good of R value??

I couldn't find anything on the website for the R value. Looks like they have one with foil on both sides.

Thanks for the kind words. Wish I could build something similar for my family but the wife won't go for it. I'll get some more pics up when the interior is finished and cleaned up.
