Plowing tall grass

The grass is relatively tall. I don’t have a mower. How will this fair out if I take a plow to it. It use to be a hay field

Connect a long length of #9 wire that will trail in the furrow you are folding the sod over into.. that will lay that tall grass into the furrow and make for a neat plowing job.
Used to work great, and suspect it still would do the same nowdays.

They must of thought they had some rig back then. And they did. Imagine suddenly having the power to pull so many plows. An old fellow here, now gone, figured there wouldn’t be a birch tree left with the chainsaw becoming popular back in the day. But that mountain ridge still has birch on it
