John Deere 318 front mount brush mower?

My John Deere 318 has the mid mount mower deck, but has anyone ever seen or heard of a hydraulically (or belt) driven, front mounted field or brush type mower for a 318? Something along the lines of those walk behind DR field mowers, that could be attached to the front mounting points, and be raised and lowered or powered with the front hydraulics and used to cut through tall, thick weeds and grass?

Nope. Not near the framework, engine 18hp, or hydraulics on the 318 garden tractor to do that, I don't believe.

Maybe you could attach or mount a DR brush mower to the front of your JD 318 and move it around as it would use its own power to mow the brush.

It would be better to have a flail mower operate behind the tractor so less dust and clippings will be sucked into the tractor engine air filter, cooling system and the operators lungs!

The Haban flail mower was the Deere OEM version. The OP could purchase a gas powered tow behind flail mower.
