please help, problem with electric pto

Its around 6 or 7 years old at least, not sure the model im not near it but its a 24hrsp. But the pto will work on and off, if you step on the hydro forward ot engauges but if you let off or go on reveres it will stop or hit bumps. I cant find a chaffed wire or loose plug. But its acting like a bad ground but i dont see any loose wires. Please help

Not famalier with that model but just wanted to share with you. I have a John Deere GT 235 HYDRO and when you mow in reverse you have to "hold up" pto button/switch for a couple seconds before or it will de-activate pto attempting to mow in reverse. Just a thought.

could be the seat switch. Also, my Husk lawnmower will not mow in reverse unless you switch the key one step to the left....very odd.

The seat switch will kill it if its not activating properly...but i would think it would also kill the motor....not sure on that.

Otherwise i would suspect loose wire somewheres.
