I hear ya, I am nervous about it not fitting thats why I asked here. Thought maybe someone else may have tried it. Your right about the engine close to me being the safer bet, I can go look at it and hear it run. Its just tempting to get a engine with over 2000 hours less for $150.00 more.
I threw the head back on until I can get the replacement engine. Of course I didn't want to blow $40.00 for a new head gasket to just use the tractor enough to load onto a trailer when we move so I used the old one and of course its leaking. Should have put on some gasket sealer I guess.
Wife will not let me get the replacement engine until after the house is sold and we are finished moving. Looks like we have to be out by March 30th or possibly sooner.
I am going to Portland Friday for the weekend and have found a junked B7100 and I'm hoping to score a hood and possibly a few other parts I need.
