I am close to purchasing a B1700 with loader and 60" MMM. It's a hydro transmission with power steering. The dealer wants $10,900.
This machine is totally MINT with 100 hours and 7 months left on the warranty. Not a scratch on it. Looks brand new. In fact, I don't think an impliment was even attached to the PTO. Evidently, the owner moved and didn't need a tractor even of this diminutive stature (that seems a little far fetched but totally possible
).
I think $10,900 is a pretty good price (after I negotiated down from his original $11,300) on this machine, but I wanted some sage advice from all the good members here. What do you think?
My feeling is that even after a few years of using the machine and taking care of it I will get nearly everything back if I sell it (that's IF I wanted to sell it...)
I appreciate this community. I have learned so much here and feel that my decision making will be far better now that I have read so many posts etc.
By the way, I live in vermont (if you couldn't guess) and I will be using the tractor for some moderate landscaping, gardening, snow removal, mowing and driveway maintainence.
Thanks in advance.
