Pricing Help

Hello All,

I am sadly selling my tractor, as I won't be needing it anymore. I am having a difficult time determining what a reasonable price should be. It is a Mahindra HST 1533 with 400 hours. The tractor runs great and looks good, except for the faded and scratched rear plastic fenders. The grapple is awesome. This is what I am thinking, based on what I have seen listed on craigslist, but there haven't been many.

Tractor with loader and bucket $13,500
5' Shredder with slip clutch 1,000
MTL 4' grapple 1,000
Box blade 500
Total tractor and attachments $16,000

16' Tandem axle with brakes 1,500
Total $17,500 Price at $17,000 if all bought.

Is this in the ballpark? I am located in Texas.

I'd say your in the right ballpark price-wise - the trailer seems a bit low at $1500 but assume its a 7000 lb or better. Here's a link to auction results - which tend to run lower (due to fees/commissions which can add $700-1500 to the cost.

Then Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist - I have had good luck with both sites.

Sounds about right for a fairly quick sale, and the total package. I think your number on the used bushhog is high, and the trailer a bit low, but the total package sounds right.
