Why would you throw away your money. I have no ads, using Firefox and Ublock origin. Highly recommended now to use an adblocker for security. Not sure about Android/Apple.

Because I'm still losing a chunk of screen real estate in the red block on the right

I find them annoying
And I figure I'd rather pay to get rid of them.
THEY seem to be related more to MY browsing than tractors.
/edit - and I do run an ad blocker, it had been working fine until the day I started this thread. But I still had
"blank" spaces where the ads were. Effectively diminishing my screen real estate.

Apple MAC and using Firefox and Ublock origin. no ads except on home page. Never noticed the screen real estate on the right hand side being lost (to ads I don't get).

I never found the ads annoying on this site. They are visible but do not detract from the experience.

Ads you see likely relate more to your browsing habits. I always laugh when someone asks why they are seeing "mature" or "personal health issue" type ads on the site they are posting on.
