MY Deere 110 TLB was sold as a package deal and came with a PJ trailer... nothing bad to say about the PJ

It is 18' with two 6k axles and plated for 9,990 lbs due to State Commercial Regs

The 110 fits perfect and the trailer is a joy to use with the tilt up ramps... which I didn't like the looks of at first but sure makes loading easy...

Does the empty trailer actually weigh 2710 lbs., or less? T(ractor Data shows the JD110TLB as 7280 Lbs.)

I've never weighed it...

My PJ is bumper pull 18' with tip up ramps... GVW plated just under 10k for California non-commercial non-RV limits with two 6k axles.

The 110 has quick attach loader and backhoe... tires are not loaded.

I imagine it would be very close and easy to go over.

I would suggest getting a little more trailer than you think you'll actually need/want. The future may require it for one reason or another.

I own a few different trailers but I do love how well this PJ tows.

Agree get more trailer than you think you need...but then the Gov comes along and clusters that all up with more and more regs as GVWR goes up.....So trying to be safer augers you into this rabbit hole

^^^Often the case... lots of well built trailers and pickups de-rated here in California to avoid CDL and other restrictions.

I will bet it is over, every time you pull it.
A full fuel tank will add 150 lbs.

The few times I have been weighed has been hitched up... with a load... so quite a bit of tongue weight on the Super Duty Diesel...

I imagine the only way to accurately scale is with the trailer loaded and not hitched?

I tried to imagine my longest hauling length, and other potential needs and wants. I measured the tractor with FEL, added the length of a 6ft bush hog, and added a couple feet of leeway. After waying pros/cons for ramps I decided against flip up's in case they got in the way but now I'm im sorry for that as I do not like the slide in ramps. They do not stay secured when loading, they are too short, and of course heavy. This winter I'll fabricate a longer, adjustable flip-up ramp set with spring assist.

At first I did not like the flip up... but it was a package and though OK... I will just sell the trailer.

After using it I am glad I didn't sell... I find the tilt up easy to use, secure and always at the ready...

I don稚 advise buying a trailer that痴 gross overkill for the load. I致e got a 10 ton gooseneck which is required to pull my backhoe but I don稚 like to use it unless required. It pulls hard, turns wide and weighs twice as much as a lighter duty trailer.

I bought a B7610 with a 5K Hudson trailer in 2007.

In 2012 I bought a second tractor, which filled the trailer.
