I think the rebels have the e-locker in the rear axle only, but I’m not certain.
Locker in rear is usually plenty. Lockers in front only work in deep snow or mud bogs, you wouldn’t want one for any normal conditions.

Hey, you guys who have airbag suspension... I know you can adjust ride height using the air bags. Would this allow me to squat the truck enough to get under a standard 6' 8" garage door opening?? I'm not sure if Dodge measures to the roof or the antenna dome, but I know my 1500 just barely clears the door opening, despite listed height being quite a bit less than 6' 8".

I don't want a softer ride, and I don't need the air suspension to handle my trailer weight. But if it'd allow me to get this truck into my attached garage on snow days, or into a parking garage where it otherwise might not fit, that'd be worth something.
I bet you’d fall in love with that coil air bag rear suspension….
Just like I steered you away from the 1/2 ton aluminum can & the 4 banger :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

@WinterDeere I like hearing I'm not the only one that enjoys my vehicle giving me the feeling of a carnival ride. Toss me around, it's fun.

:ROFLMAO:

Both of those trucks look real sharp, and I don't even care for a bright red, but it looks good on the RAM.

As far as I know, Ford isn’t building four “bangers” in their F150’s (yet). I’m glad to hear the OP is buying Ram. Someone has to keep the economy afloat but buying a truck every few years when their old steel truck rusts out.😀

The good thing about newer 3/4 tons is they usually have a true class V hitch which can take a heavier load without a weight distributing hitch, a big plus.

IMO, rust is more of a choice than anything
Now before y’all come at me, I do admit some trucks were prone to rust. Many Chevy & GMC’s rusted.
However, with proper care, there's no reason a truck shouldn’t last 10++ years before any rust even begins. Even longer.

Most (not all) rusted trucks are due to owner neglect, namely not washing undersides during winter and not keeping up with rust proofing.

lol... glad to do my part. (y)

I'm actually building and shipping about $1M/year in product completely fabricated and assembled in USA, from materials about 90%+ sourced in the USA. So, the truck is only a small contribution, at $60k spread over 10 - 12 years.

I guess I never really looked, but back when I bought my prior Dodges and Rams, they were pure-NAFTA vehicles. Engines from Canada, final assembly in Mexico, etc. That was all in the Daimler and then Fiat days... not sure how Stellantis is managing it, not that it would be any factor in my decision to buy.

I will admit to being some part of that, I don't do my trucks any favors. But when rust seems to come thru mostlly from places one could never hope to rinse, like the inside of doors and tailgates, well... that's on the manufacturer.
