Kubota MX5800
Looking for a set of pallet forks for my Kubota MX5800. I like my Everything Attachments grapple & landscape rake & am considering one of their pallet forks. What size (42" or 48") & capacity do y'all recommend for my tractor?

Get a set of 48'' forks.......they are usually between 3000-4000# capacity, which extends past your lift capacity anyway.

48" 3000 -4000 pound capacity. I have Land Prode on my MX5200

I agree. 48". Even the 42" probably exceed your FEL capacity. So go for the longer forks. Broadens usage.

My research put Express Steel as the best option for 48" 4k forks. <$800

I use 48”, 4000# forks on my MX 6000. The longer forks are more versatile and easier to see the tips when you’re maneuvering to position.

I went with 42" EA forks for my L4701 and wish I had gotten 48". Thought I'd prefer the shorter/more manuverable ones, but have found I'd rather have slightly longer forks, or maybe just extensions so I can more stably lift larger pallets (I've had a few items delivered on 7' pallets).

Depends what you are using them for. I bought 42" and they are perfect for moving IBC totes full of wood. longer forks would offer no advantage and might even 'spear' the tote behind the one I am moving.

I found the solution to "not seeing the tips" to be a cheap back up camera. Camera has other uses as well.

I would put a 4x6 piece of wood in back of forks when I absolutely needed 42" forks. That would be on 48" forks. We had a set of 42", hated them things. Bought some 48" and life is better. And yes, I pick up totes too. Pallets. Plywood. Bricks. Lumber.

Yup
I use a $20 Wyze cam, a $15 Sony "powerbank" and if not within range of the house WiFi, my Mobely, plus appropriate USB cables and Ziploc bags then watch it on my Android phone. Just did that yesterday to hook up to drag an 18' trailer with my FEL on my M4700. A decent mobile camera can be like the ability to put an eyeball on most anything.

You can’t go wrong with express steel. Mine are built like a tank and very affordable I got the 48 inch 4000 pound

I like the express steel stuff. But wish they had a trailer hitch receiver tube on them. Need something to move GN trailers around.
