FYI guys. Bobcat recommends removing front drive chains if you install tracks on you tire machine.

That is an incorrect statement, it was tried years ago trying to fit rubber tracks, but the side loading of the center motor carrier to one chain only allowed the chains to last longer but wore out carrier bearings.
Bobcat recommends leaving sufficient slack in the tracks so both chains are pulling, not tightest chain pulling on wheel and tight track moving the other wheel.

Just got the skinny from Gwinner ND. Steel tracks leave the chains on. Rubber tracks take them off. I didn't know rubber tracks were available for Bobcat SSL's. Sorry for the confusion.
