Operating Auger Powerhead

Morning fellows,
Need a bit of help with a rookie kind of question. Bought a X975 auger powerhead to use with my fancy new Kubota GL3240. (doing fenceposts). I decided on a quick-attach, rather than a 3pt mount, for strength and so I can see what the heck I'm doing.
My problem: I hooked up the hoses (only one way to do that, so it's right) and pushed the button (factory installed) - but the auger won't turn. No flow.
Did I miss a step? My manual doesn't really say. Is there something else I have to do to activate the button or release fluid flow?

What is this majic button? Can you post some pics? Is this hooked up to to rear remote hydrualic connectons? Philip.

Have you used the front remotes before and had them work with another attachment? If you have the Kubota front remotes, I know on my B26 and my L45 there is a a round white button at the base of the loader lever. When it is on, the switch has a green light in it that turns on and then the electric solenoid for the remotes will work. If the light is not on, the buttons will do nothing.

Thanks for the responses. Looked at the manual again when I got home from work. Page 16 has a decent picture and sure enough, there is an item marked "lock lever". It's located down low, next to the differential lock pedal. I now recall it from the original walkthrough as well. As in "if this is open, don't disconnect your front implement or push this button".
the button I was referring to is just the Kubota factory front remote controller, located on the knob on the loader control.
this should take care of it when I get up to the mountain to check the solution.
