Looks like a slick rig for the times. I've never seen one before, I wonder why they didn't catch on more? I can't wait to show my father the video. He was born in 1927 maybe he will know something about them.

Look remarkably similar to the first 'Caterpillar' design before then went to tracks.

Pretty amazing for the time. I bet it wasn't that "easy" to switch back and forth for the different seasons though...
