sixdogs- Didn't you sign up for the warranty? 22oz T-Bone Steak! Or did you initial the 'box', that you declined? I like mine between Red and Pink on the inside and 'Rusty' on the outside! Wife sez, "A good Vet could put that back on it's feet, and it would be 'grazing' in no time!":laughing::laughing:

for a good steak you get the grill good and hot and you wave the steak over it on the way to the table Randy

Well it was a long hard bumpy road but we finaly reached the end. The tractor is paid for, shuck his hand and no bad words. Lil red will be going home soon. I shure was looking for a Tx BBQ party and meeting a few of yall. But i guess it was still a happy ending.:cool2::cool2::drink:

Good for you, and good for him! The BBQ party would have cost you more than you had into the tractor anyhow.;)

Sounds like a good name to call it.

Glad it worked out in the end. For a no win suititation, this is the absolute best you could expect.

Wonder if he'll follow thru on his threat to trade it in for a deere?

Yea I think it worked out ok in the end. I dont think **** trade it, I think he knows he has a great tractor and maybe will now take alittle better care of it.

We could call it he "Texas Rusty Clutch Chili Cookoff" and have the contestants provide the grub. Maybe get the farm bureau to advertise and say all the ingredients must come from Texas. Charge the pubic admission for lunch and do an in-ground ox roast. Put up a tent. Get the up-front $$ from sponsors.

Get a chili sauce maker to sponsor four ft mini cluch trophies and we chip in or get a sponsored $500 first prize. Implement sponors and equipment demos. Kiddie tractor pull.
Beauty queen contest and crown a "Rusty Clutch Queen" with four runner-ups. Maybe a few Junior Miss little girls and a few "Over 50" winners.
Sell T-shirts including regular, womens and wife-beater style. "I survived the Rusty Clutch Cookoff". I judge the beauty contests. :licking:
Have the State Governor or Larry Hagman award Grand Prize trophy. Dealer the balance. Crown a King and Queen.

Tractor parade led by either our clutch guy customer (Grand Marshall?) or hot babe on similar MF tractor. Invite the MF club to give tractor trophies. Have them bring samples of the entire MF line from the Pony forward. Whaetever they want--these guys love this stuff,

No prob getting in a cooking magazine plus Farm Bureau, the Texas Ag publication and some of those hobby farmer rags. Local news and TV.

We copyright the promo stuff and then begin our plan to take over the world.

Boy oh boy Sixdogs is like an excited puppy all over this thing.:) Down boy down boy! Just yankin your chain it does sound like fun......
And yes get rid of the pups before someone get's attached. My Daughter and I have raised Service Dogs in the past to help handicapped people.. You get the pup at 8 weeks and have them until they are about a year and half old.. Pretty easy to get attached to them furballs.

He also knows he has a dealer who will go the extra mile to take care of him.

Congratulations - you certainly have my admiration for your patience and your integrity.

a little off subject but what has happened to the new holland dealer in tyler and sulphur springs

The NH dealer is still in Tyler on Hwy 64 going toward Lindale. Its called East Tx New Holland. Im not shure about the one in Sulphur Springs. Now a MF dealer in Sulphur Springs was bought out at the first of the year. It was Bailys tractor and is now Holt Tractor.

JL, Did you ever invite the customer to TBN? Now that he's seen the light TBN might even open his eyes a little further. MikeD74T
