Anyone done an oil bath conversion on their trailer?

The oil bath hubs on my semi trailer seem pretty trouble free. Definitely are easier to deal with than repacking bearings all the time.

I was looking at these kits Kodiak Oil Bath Kits

I've never done it, but I would be all for it. The only oil bath hubs I've dealt with were on Polaris ATVs. They used an expensive version of ATF.

I have. No issues and straight forward.

Make sure you use good double lip seals with spring tensioners to keep them dry.

Unless the trailer/hubs/axles are new you are asking for trouble!
I have R&R ed many hundreds of semi tractor and trailer hubs (mostly brake jobs) and had found very few grease seals that failed verses oil hubs/seals failures.
A big problem is with either being run and then going through deep water. The water cools the hub and it will suck in the water!
