this type only has the pto shaft out one side. there might be other types that i have not seen yet that have the pto crankshaft out the front and back.

I suppose it wouldn't be hard to take off the recoil start on the electric start models to see if it has some kind of bolt holes on the shaft.....

I'm not familar w/ the Yamnar series and if they came w/ an accessory drive on the flywheel end.....

A "helper" method of starting in winter (works w/ the BIG diesels) is to use a hair drier; so I'm told. Take off the air cleaner, point the hair drier into the intake. Giveit a minute or two then give it a whirl. For the big engines, it takes about 5-10 min of shooting hot air in...so I have heard. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

i have tried the hair dryer/heat gun method. and it does work well for those stubborn winter start-up's. on the gen set i just built, i looked for a glow plug single cylinder diesel till i found one. i dont need a won't start situation in the dead of winter.

it's a deutz/ruggerini RF121. 13 hp. here's a pic. i wish i would have bought more of them. the guy i bought it from had 12 engines new in the box. lots of people were asking if i could sell them one, or where to get one.
