I tried the search function and struck out.
Several years ago maybe more like 7-8 years ago there was a thread on no-drill wire and cable attachment fasteners.
The kind that hold wire or split-loom as it is strung along on the frame of a trailer or truck.
Most of the time you put a small screw in and bolt the holder to the metal frame.
Someone posted about a new (at that time) device that was put on with a VERY STRONG adhesive and was permanent without drilling holes.
Can't really find the thread and have not found anything that seems to be that strong in any of the stores.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Frame rail clips - quick & secure.

The adhesive can't be any stronger than what it is attached to. Under a trailer, if that is Enamel or worse, Powder coat, good luck with that. So, one would be best to grind down to bare metal and if you hve to do that, drilling would be easier, or better yet, self drilling Stainless screws.

I believe your thinking of "click bond":

That is exactly what I was thinking of. Have you used them and what was your opinion of them in service?

I have not, just remembered the many discussions on it.

They work great. Dragon eggs, on here has used them for several things and has had good luck with them.

I welded bolts onto the cross members and frame of my trailer. Also put one at each light for a ground. I used stainless 1/4-20x3/4in bolts.

Re Click Bond

Here’s a sample I did with swivel a cable tie holder on mild steel.

Painted metal ground to bare metal.

A vise was the handiest object I had.

The adhesive will hold for a much heavier weight but I’m certain the cable tie would stretch and fail first.

Totally unscientific but I guess you get the idea.

HTH.
