I just realized I had the HST and HYD reversed. They are correct in the xref but I was referring to them in reverse on the tractor. The HYD filter is in the back near the rear end (right side tucked up under things). This one is around 5" long on the tractor but the Baldwin BT8488 is close to 7". The filter does not stick way down, but is still below any other structure around it and I still managed to dent it somehow. I was clearing vine maple trees last year and one of the "trunks" probably got up under the rear end at some point.
Either way, the HST is the smaller one located up by the engine on the left side. I looked at the TC30 when I purchased and it wasn't readily available. But, the difference as far as I've been able to read is primarily superficial. My T1510 has a cup holder and a couple other minor things. Looking at the parts diagrams and parts lists for both TC30 and T1510, it looks like they both use the same HST and HYD filters.
I'm not sure if 325psi is sufficient for that location in the system. I'm sure the peak pressure would be higher, but this should filter off of the reservoir so it shouldn't be exposed to the full peak pressure. I'd be really interested to know which you use for the HST and HYD. I'm thinking I'll have Orielly get the HST (?) and HYD (51712) in stock so I can have a choice of which to install.
