I have three perhaps ignorant questions:

1) Been a long time since I've seen a battery that has a "water level." Is there a danger of freezing/cracking?

2) Should I use a battery tender on it during the winter months of limited use.

3) Is there a "sta-bil" type product that can/should be used with diesel fuel, or does diesel not contain the level of added chit found in gasoline?

Thanks!

Welcome to TBN even if you are not a "Blue Forum" person :D ;)!

There are no stupid questions; sometimes there are stupid answers .

1)- Not if the battery remains charged.

2)- Not a bad idea if you have only limited use, this is also a function of temperature.

3)- I am a vocal proponent of Power Service (White Bottle) with ULSD. I use it year round; a "double shot" as recommended in the winter.

Use your tractor safely and well-

Jbrumberg gave excellent advice. The battery tender will keep your battery from dischaging and freezing. It wil also extend it's life since a fully charged battery tends to last longer.
