New to the site

Hi all,

Quick introduction here.

Joined up to get information about tractors, of all things.:laughing:

Current project is a Komatsu D21S that my dad bought. Overall the machine is in great shape and runs really well. 1500 hrs on the meter. We'll be adding a ROPS since all of the work is on a steep site. We'll also be putting on a ripper and fabbing up a snow blade for the front.

My dad bought the machine to fix a large landslide that is threatening his home. Over the next few months we'll be moving about 1200cu.yds. with this little machine; everything from rocks to clay to brush.

I've been reading here for years and finally needed to join to get information and hopefully share some as well.

Sounds like a big fun project, post photos when you can... Photos may not always help... but who cares, we just like looking at them :laughing:

Glad to have you and your dad is not the only one whom is trying to fill in holes behind the house..I have bought many dump-truck loads for several years now. I fought it for years with a Ford 8n and boxblade.. Trying to start over with a Kubota tractor and Fel. Yes, we like to look at photos when avail. I myself will try to post a few too?
