Such great info so far. Thank you, and keep it coming! Can anyone steer me in the right direction for hopefully an existing write-up on how to typically run this tractor? Meaning, when just driving with no load, can I start out in high range? Already start in low? Again, I'm a total newb to these machines!! Hopefully it's addressed in my manual, but have not rcvd that as of yet, and I want to get to work. 🤣

My two cents for new to me machinery is to start out in a low range (not ultra low), and just above idle until I have gotten an hour or two on it. It saves wear and tear on me, the equipment, and buildings. Just saying...other folks may be more coordinated.

All the best,

Peter

Low RPMS when you let the clutch out. Not the Gear it's in.

So if I'm hearing g you all correctly, it will start from a dead stop in any gear, and I modulate speed with the throttle. Am I on the right track?

The Red pedal is your gas pedal Drive it just like a car clutch. BUT You need to be stopped or nearly stopped before shifting Into gears. keeps from Grinding them
