Are you still able to fit everything inside your shop, or is it time to build again?

Still fit (mostly)
Excavator/roller/dozer and daily drivers live outside

I either have an issue collecting junk or there is some sort of gravitational anomaly that attracts rusty stuff

My advice to anyone building, go big and add overhang/shed roof where you can. I only covered the back side with porch roof. I should have done at least one more wall for more covered parking/storage

Well duh. It is clearly a gravitational anomaly. You are welcome! (y)

Well I’m getting rid of the tap disintegrator that I never use and that is taking up horizontal space (we all know how that goes) and have declared war on gummed up carbs

new to me and seemingly like new 7 gallon ultrasonic (heated) cleaner 2600ht/d

anybody used one or have any recipes for fluid to use on carbs? (Seems water/detergent/ammonia is common vs off shelf choices)

Thanks!(ordered)

Any direct experience esp vs “home brew”

Also how long would be a typical run?

Thank you!

I have a similar machine and have had good luck with Dawn dish soap and tap water. I always disassemble the carb and run it for an hour, change the fluid, and run another hour. Seems to do the trick. Also works for Glock handguns

Quick and dirty project

After shooting the recurve today w the target on the ground, it was time to take (make) a stand.

1) light/minimalist/ few
Parts but sturdy
2) durable/weather- able
3) quick setup

I have a bunch of titanium rod kicking around. I haven’t used a piece in the 10 years it has been sitting there.

So 1/2 x6’ piece cut in 2, sharpened and 5” bend at one end.

Stick it in sides of target and lean on target to set.

Worked perfect for what I needed.

I never would of thought of a 3 wheeler as a machine to move snow!!!!
I've owned two of those over the years. Fun, but... "Squirrely" is an understatement...

I guess I like riding squirrel!

I prefer them, have to use your body like a bike.

There will likely be another in the stable in the next day or 2. Stay tuned

I don''t have a work bench to put a 500# vise, let alone know what I would use it for. Though I know you do. Jon

It is a bit of an upgrade from my 200??lb Peter wright

I think I posted the redone stand, if not, here it is 2”lamanated oak top over 3/8 plate. It did well for the 200 lb. I liked the patina so I just clear coated the base. I will have to affix it somehow once I see how loud it “rings”

Spare titanium (unobtanium), that is a good but unusual item to have around.
