He is. Kyle, we've been eyeballing guy's work areas for a long time, you just passed twenty years here, and this shop
is one of a handful that makes me really smile. The wish I had a man cave like this. In reality, it takes space, money and knowledge.
I'm a sucker for all tools, machine or otherwise, one thing I never got on my bucket list was a car/truck/tractor lift.
And we all want an overhead crane since we are always lifting something up to work underneath.

I admit to buying a tool just because I wanted to learn how to use it. Nice plunge router. Never did use it the way I thought I would.
so you can hang it on the wall to look interesting or you can really know how to use it. I never got to my get to it.

knowing how to build a tool to build another tool, that creative process, is a real talent which some of you have. You have to have the vision to know
where you want to get to, and then plan the steps there.
Well, at least I learned how to weld.

btw, that little sickle bar is the coolest thing, with its big warning letters.

this is the fun of an international site. You learn more.

Thx all

Long way from the rusty plyers, hammer and dull crosscut saw of my youth

Frankly, I did a lot more with less and lost some creativity over the years “having the right tool for the job”

A wee bit more heavy duty than a bead blast cabinet. I sand blasted for a few months, just out of high school. Was tough work. Blast, paint, blast, paint....

185cfm will fill your tire fast.

sounds like it's time for a nice new rotary compressor.

^ I looked into that

It seems that only the most extreme examples could come close to that cfm

Diesel seems to be the way to go

( I do dislike my compressor but it seems I’m still stuck w it)

Got the plow installed on the 84 big red. Needed to fabricate mounting hardware.

More to “play”

The apron in front of shop or maybe some walkways. I don’t plan any serious work. Just allows me to enjoy the machine

Arm lift works well and overall balance is good.

WOW! You must be like the legend they told about Homer Simpson - 7-foot tall! With arms like tree trunks!

So it was like 70 degrees today. I was feeling better so an adventure to pick up a “300lb” split drum lawn roller. (25$)

After lightly rolling it onto my toe, I decided to check the weight.

440lbs

It worked well and the split drum is great for turning

Now I can fix the field when I traverse it too early in the spring
